Parabaik, (accordion, or concertina style) book. Four by six inches (closed) but 6 by 60 inches fully opened. Heavy handmade paper pasted to form 34 panels (front and back). There are 16 paintings on one side and 18 paintings on the reverse side. The start pages are bound into carved wooden covers that are painted and lacquered with metal scroll work and Lion at the center. In good condition for age. There is some damage to back page that is bound to cover (see last picture). Most likely moisture as the ink looks like it has run. Otherwise, this unique book is in good condition with only typical and minor staining for age. There are no rips or tearing to the pages. Pages are securely attached to the wood covers.
