It includes notable original content from the Weird Tales circle, including Lovecraft stories “Azathoth,” “The Descendent,” “The Book,” and “Collapsing Cosmos.” Other remarkable content includes C.L. Moore‘s “Werewoman” (a Northwest Smith story), Fritz Leiber’s lengthy poem “The Demons of the Upper Air,” a poem by Frank Belknap Long, a story by Donald Wandrei, a story by Samuel Loveman, Lovecraft’s essay “In Defense of Dagon,”
